From the Graduate, turn right to reach the East Bank light rail station. Take the train towards Minneapolis one stop to the West Bank Station and go up the set of stairs leading to Cedar Ave (stairs on the side the train is moving towards). At the top of the stairs/elevator, turn right and continue straight. Republic is on the right before crossing the street towards the Marriott.

From the Graduate, cross the street and turn right. Continue forward towards Coffman Memorial Union. Continue past Coffman and cross the Washington Avenue Bridge. From the bridge, take a slight right past Wiley Hall. Take a right and walk down the steps. At the bottom of the steps, turn left. Cross the street after the roundabout in front of Mondale Hall and walk down S 2nd St. Republic will be on the left.

Continue forward past University before taking a right onto the University of Minnesota Transitway. Continue forward until turning left onto Malcolm Ave SE. From the ramp, turn left onto SE Harvard St. Take a right onto Beacon St SE and then a left onto Walnut St SE. Turn right on University Ave SE and continue until turning left onto Malcolm Ave SE. Turn right onto SE 5th St. Surly will be on the left.
